Our WHS Award-Winning Music Department participated in the Music in the Parks Music Festivals in Hershey, PA!!! This was their first overnight trip since Covid. Even with torrential downpours, the students managed to have a great time and once again, the music department brought home some serious hardware:
Honors Chorale- 1st Place, Excellent Rating,
Gospel Choir- 1st Place, Superior Rating,
Gospel Choir- Overall Choir Award,
Jason Grant- Most, Outstanding Accompanist Award, (Gospel Choir Bass Instrumentalist),
Makenzie Swaby- Most Outstanding Soloist Award (Gospel Choir),
Orchestra-2nd Place, Excellent Rating,
Symphonic Band- 3rd Place, Excellent Rating,
Jazz Ensemble- 1st Place, Superior Rating,
Jazz Ensemble- Overall Jazz Ensemble Award
All we do is win! Great job to our students and AMAZING educators Dr. White, Mr. Monroe, and Dr. Pierce, well done as always!!!
